My Background
I started my college counseling career as a volunteer, helping students craft personal statements. From there, I spent over a decade tutoring test prep (including the SAT, ACT, APs, ISEE, HSPT, and SSAT) and offering academic support.
I love that this field allows me to work with college-bound high schoolers. I recall my own anxiety at that age, and I strive to allay those fears as a guide through the byzantine process of applications. As the years have passed, I now understand the concerns of parents, too.
I appreciate how this field asks me to learn, research, and think. From touring college campuses to professional conferences to online symposia, there is always something for me to discover. Also, I value the importance of this information as the landscape of admissions is constantly changing.

Outside of the Office
In addition to my work as a tutor and educational consultant, I am an avid trivia enthusiast. I have appeared as a contestant on various trivia game shows. I have even been a series regular on the Game Show Network program “Master Minds,” where I play as a trivia expert. I write and host my own quizzes on TikTok and Instagram. I absolutely adore learning (and remembering) fun facts.
I am the proud rescuer of two dogs: Rex and Baloney Sandwich.
