Mentoring for Independent Educational Consultants

Thoughtful support for IECs who lead with integrity

You’re committed to doing this work well for your students, for your families, and for yourself.

But at times, it can feel isolating.

Complex cases. Ethical dilemmas. Client boundaries. Business questions. Some days, it’s hard to know who to ask, or how to move forward.

This mentoring program is designed to change that.

It’s for IECs who want to refine the practice itself, the part that matters most: showing up well for students, handling complex cases with clarity, and staying grounded and fulfilled in the work, even during busy seasons.

This mentoring experience centers the why of your practice and supports you in doing it with integrity, insight, and longevity.

What to Expect

When I started out, I wished for more than templates or webinars. I wanted a thoughtful guide who could hold space for the hard questions and help me grow in a way that felt true to who I am.

That’s what I aim to offer: a place for IECs to reflect, recalibrate, and thrive with support so you can serve families well, make wise choices, and stay rooted in the reasons you came to this work in the first place.

Offered in small-group coaching or one-on-one sessions.

The mentoring experience includes:

  • A trusted space to talk through challenging cases and decisions

  • Guidance on client management, boundaries, and ethical dilemmas

  • Clarity around how to serve students well while sustaining your practice

  • Complex case consultations and second opinions

  • Sustainable workflows that preserve personalization

  • A warm, collegial community of like-minded professionals

  • Reflection on your values, vision, and professional identity

  • Insight from 30+ years of experience as an educator, counselor, and mentor
